What is sandblasting and why does it matter?
Abrasive blasting removes rust, failing paint, and contaminants while creating the right anchor profile so new coatings bond and last.
Do you offer soda or other media blasting?
Yes. We select the media (sand, soda, garnet, etc.) and pressure based on your steel type, environment, and coating spec.
Do you sandblast fiberglass slides?
No. We do not blast gelcoat or fiberglass. For slides we use non-abrasive restoration methods (wet sand, compound, wax, gelcoat).
Can you work at height or on complex structures?
Yes. Our crew is trained for vertical access and handles towers, stairs, platforms, and hard-to-reach steel safely.
Will operations need to shut down?
Usually not. We use containment, dust control, and off-hours scheduling to minimize disruption.
How long do coatings last after blasting?
With proper prep and the right system, 5–10+ years is typical. We back our coating work with a 5 year warranty.
What surface prep standard do you meet?
We achieve the manufacturer-required profile/cleanliness (up to SSPC-SP10/NACE 2 where specified) for optimal adhesion.
